Anyway, is there some penalization for submitting your site too often? I'm just not registering at all on these search engines! How do you know if you have been blacklisted for being a pest?

I've studied the pages that are the successful sites for my keywords, and often they have no meta tags, and so much less to offer than I am trying to offer! I just don't get this? I must be missing something very important here?
