It takes a moderate effort to create a web site that looks adequate on all browsers, regardless of the visitor's setup, fonts, etc) and
excellent on a few of them. It takes far more effort to create a Web site that looks excellent on a certain browser (provided the visitor
has the same hardware, fionts, and settings as the designer) and really really bad on the rest.
As I am a lazy person, I take the easy way out of HTML design: stick to valid code and let the user see what they see.
