subject of why forcing font size is a bad idea.

of popular graphic browsers like Netscape and Internet Explorer."

http://www.htmlhelp.com/reference/css/ has a basic tutorial.
What's really good about style sheets is that you can change the appearance
of an entire site by changing just the style sheets
