If the indexed page is simply a directory you can make a index.cgi that can redirect traffic to your homepage location.
Your server should be able to tell you how to do this, and the search engines will not reindex this cgi page.
Also you can set a expiration date for the page, or strip the page of all meta tags and links, and all text except for a line such as "this page has expired, please visit www.mycompany.com"
The page will, after about a month, drop out of the Index.
Also adding the line - noindex - nofollow - will remove it too.
