Submit root URL or sub-page to Yahoo!?
From Scott at WordSouth Public Relations on 20 August '98
I am preparing to submit our company's site to Yahoo. The site is for a PR firm, so naturally it has client listings, company information, the standard stuff.

But we also have a section called the "resource center" that has free tips on writing, web design, etc. The purpose is of course to give people a reason for visiting, free content, all that.

So would it be better to submit this page to Yahoo and describe it as having "Free tips on writing, graphics, web design..." rather than just submit the home page and say "We offer publishing, web site design..."

My thinking is people are more likely to search for writing and design tips than for PR companies.

Any advice will be appreciated, the site is up if you want to have a look. Thanks in advance.
