Not for anybody. I've had computers crash out from under me
by accidentally bad scripts that I don't want to risk the truly
malicious ones.

That's all the typical user really wants ... a fast, easy to use site
with no gimmicks. The rest is just the web-oneupsmanship and marketeers
falling for the gimmicks.
