>Does anyone out there know of promotional tools that include more of the UK specific search engines? Like many I currently rely heavily on tools such as webposition and promotion artist. Some of the sites I deal with though are really interested in promoting mainly to a UK audience (e.g. Estate Agencies). A tool that included yahoo.co.uk , excite.co.uk and searchuk.com (amongst others) would be a great time saver.>If anyone knows of such a tool or a site that does the job.. please let me know. If now do any other UK site developers want to join my one man crusade into pestering the developers to include these? It cannot be that difficult for them to add regional variations of engines that they already support.
I am with you all the way on this one. I too have used Web Position heavily, and effictively to get search engine ranking on the engines they feature
However on adding web tracking software to my armoury, I now see that most of my punters come from the UK sites. Submitting individually does take time, but you can gradually refine the process by book marking the relevant sites and keeping them in a separate folder - there about ten UK specific search sites that matter
So now it is not the adding to the sites that takes the time, it is checking my position on them on a regular basis. Web Position with UK specific sites would be a boon
Has anyone corresponded with them on this?
