And you have been reported to SPAWP (Society for the Prevention of Abandonment of Web Pages).

It depends on where the page is, and whether any other pages have links to it. I use "floating"
websites (no links to the index.htm, and no links from any other page on my site) for client demos.
If a SE blunders into my index page, it will not be able to get to the demo. If there is a link from
another site into the "floating" pages, they will eventually be found.

With one 4-year old site, I have never resubmitted it to any search engine since Lycos and AltaVista,
and every new 'bot on the block shows up to index it. There are LOTS of links to this one, from all
over the world though. I don't know how aggressively they look for brand new domains.
