I don't track with the mania I used to, so this is just an
impression, but I'd say no. They seem to stay where they are
for a day or so (after the SE recognizes the update), and then
rise to their final position.

In fact I've been surprised how fast some completely redone
AND renamed pages have risen. I've had a couple of occasions
when I had to rename pages to accommodate tracking scripts.
I thought that -- even allowing for serious improvements in
the structure -- they would start their lives in the
60 to 100 range. Not the case; they appeared in the top
20 on several SEs, and rose above the orginal pages within
a couple of weeks. I wonder if the SEs not only weight pages
by age, but whole sites as well?
