It's a general term for keyword repetition,
and it comes in many shapes and forms.

SPAM is an abbreviation of "Shoulder Pork and
hAM". The last spam factory in the UK closed
this week amidst a lot of media attention. We
were treated to the Monty Python "Spam Sketch"
every half hour on the News, which is where
the Internet term "spam" originates.

The "Spam Sketch" basically consists of John
Cleese and the other chap in a cafe. One of
them is ordering from the menu, which has mostly
Spam. The quote is:

"I'd like spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam,
spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, egg and chips...
without the spam."

The connection is obvious...
