The search engines treat apostrophes the same as
any other character, so a search for "robert's"
would find the word "robert's" (no surprise there).

In some cases the apostrophe might be 'grouped' with
other characters so, for example, a search for
"robert's" on certain engines might produce both
"robert's" and "robert s" if the apostrophe and space
character were grouped together in the database.
