I was recently informed that the Excite and Lycos spiders cannot crawl your site (other than the page(s) you submit) unless your site has a set of text links on the page. (i.e. not just graphical button/image maps) Can anyone confirm if this is true?
If its true, I do not want to change my site. Therefore, I will probably create a sitemap that is not linked from my website and submit this page to those spiders. Should that fix the problem?
