Why I use red linksFrom Jim on 31 March '98

Interesting question. Erm, they're all interesting, of course, but some more than others ;)
Every page I've ever written has had red links because I once red a study (pun intended) that said Netscape had botched things up by specifying blue as default. The reasoning behind it is that in nature, the most attention-grabbing colour is red. I thought this made good sense, so I've used red ever since, with various shades of dark blue for visited links. The only exception is when I use colours a key to make things easier when there's a lot of info.
There ain't much I do without some kind of reason behind it.
