Did you check to make sure that your site works within the major browsers including IE and Netscape - not to mention AOL? I had a problem with one of my sites in that Netscape made it appear that there were broken links. (Yahoo's first email to me - a rejection - listed this as a reason why.) Make sure the page is complete and there are not any "coming soon" or "under construction" pages. Only resubmit once a month - it may take a few months to get listed!!

You can go to http://docs.yahoo.com/info/suggest/appropriate.html to read on how to list it (what category it belongs in)

And you can visit
http://www.deadlock.com/promote/search-engines/yahoo.html at this site which has a LOT of info about Yahoo.

>I think my homeapage is ok. But Im so new to this that I could be mistaken. I think Im ready for Yahoo but I would like to get the page judged by the pros. I have read lots and lots about site promotions but I still cant understand how the heck it works, there seems to be so many different perspectives.
