>Boy, do I need help! I never did ecpect this to be easy but I'm really disappointed. I started my first adult paysite about three weeks ago and thought that I was doing everything right...Yes, I know there's a lot of competition but THAT doesn't scare me. The problem is nobody visits! About 5 of 10 hits per day (and I'm paying $900 per month for content!)I manually submitted to the majors (Now listed on Yahoo, Starting Point and Alta Vista) I designed doorway pages for the major jeywords an ...Nothing! Anyone out there who can tell me what I'm doing wrong before I call the suicide line :-)
I don't know a thing about porno sites except that last week I chatted
about the internet with a very brainy lawyer friend who is quite
web savvy. He told me an acquaintance of his built an "adult" site,
buying content from a supplier. My lawyer friend said there was no way
to make money with such a site.
My god! You're paying $900 a month! Maybe if you increase traffic
several thousand percent you'll break even. Search engines are
barely taking listings, and I suppose (or hope) porno gets listed last.
Do you think the sleazeoids (probably organized crime) who supply your
content have any intention of sharing real profits with gullible people
like you? They use the women and they're using you, too!
Can you get out of your contract? (or just refuse to pay?) How did you
get into this? I'm curious.
