Anyone have time for critique please?

I am trying to revamp this year-old site for the new year, and am a bit mind-boggled. Any suggestions for items to include\delete would be greatly appreciated. The site is non-commercial, a treatment of a story written by my Father-in-law. Thanks and best regards to all here.
