I am getting totally confused here, being a novice at all this.

I am using Dreamweaver 4 and I have just added the background image and I am getting the same problem as you guys.

Problem being I dont understand how the little spacer is working ??

This is at the moment how I have my html ..... and please excuse the roughness of it !!

In explorer it works perfect and looks great ... netscape ... same problem ??

Can someone help me ?
