He hid the source by making it a frames page. Instead of clicking view source in the menu, right click in the frame, and in the float menu pick "view source" (at least in IE). What do you see? A horrendous mish mash of frames, layers, and a junk-load of JavaScript. I think an aspiring web author's best bet would be "cut and paste, cut and paste, cut and paste, etc, etc." :)
