How about redirection? Unfortunately, the app server we're
currently using forces a redirect from / to /index.html (versus
just serving the index.html page). I've heard that returning a
302 can result in a demotion in some cases, but I'd think that
most search engines have figured out that a redirection to
/index.* is benign? Thanks,
