One process deadlocks

Hi!! I'm a uni student and one of my assignment questions has got me
a little stumped.

What is a one-process deadlock? Does this situation cause any
problems to the resource manager of an operating system? Why?

I have read through texts and searched the web so if anyone can point
me in the right direction I'd really appreciate it.
I always thought there had to be 2 processes to cause a deadlock.
