An ISP can know the following.


If you are a customer of theirs and you dial in they can know:


A. Your modem speed
B. Your operating system
C. They can also tell if you are using a pentium class computer system
D. They will know your telephone number.
E. they can monitor any users movements while dialed in. But only if suspected of doing something against the law or just for training puposes.
F. If they have their logs turned on they can tell how long you visited that certain page and from what domain.
