Is there a free trial of ‘Search Engine Optimizer’ software?

Hi,
I have been reading about ‘Search Engine Optimizer’ software, and
was wondering if anyone knows where I can get my hands on a free
trial? This seem the like the kind of software I’m looking for
however I’m reluctant to purchase it without trying it first. I
currently use Web Position Gold but I do find it a bit long
winded and it doesn't seem to be as efficient as it once was.
May one of you guys our there could recommend some other software?
