It's based on an early version (circa 1996) of Matt Wright's
WWWboard - http://www.worldwidemart.com/scripts - but I've done a
lot of customisation on it over the years (to manage the large
number of messages and because I just enjoy tinkering with it now
and then): word wrapping, reply message quoting, email
notification, database search, monthly archives, categories, spam
detection/blocking, IP logging, moderator tools, various formatting
tricks...
Nowadays there's probably a board out there which does all of
these things by default but from what I've seen most of them are
a bit fussy and rarely search-engine-indexable. I would still
recommend the current version of WWWboard.
