A portal should hav the following things to b called a portal,
otherwise it can b a search engine or just a website -
1) Navigation
2) Commerce
3) Content
So i think that u can very easily classify the various websites
as portals n all.
yahoo is just a website n not a portal coz it does not hav commerce...
