This one is, for a start ;)

Nice tutorial Bill, one thing to mention is that hosting services
always have their own rules about SSI. It's a good idea to check
their FAQ before you start. The three main stances seem to be:

a) SSI is switched off completely because they're worried about security.

b) You may be forced to rename your files *.shtml in which case you
don't need the .htaccess file, all *.shtml pages are parsed by default.

c) The best way is the one you've described, with the .htaccess file.

Also the syntax may be different, if 'include file' doen't work, try
'include virtual'.

Another useful point: usually SSI is used to insert snippets of text,
but you can also run scripts and do all sorts of other stuff with SSI
if you're that way inclined.
