CGI (mailto:) question|
From Bradley on 11 May '99
I have a question that is very important to me, so if you can help me out, I would greatly appreciate it.
I am piecing together a CGI script that is simply processes information in a form to an email. When the email is sent, it unfortunately does NOT include the email address of the person submitting the form in the "FROM:" address.
What programming needs to be done in order for the email address that the person types in the form to become the FROM: address in the email that is received?
This is important to me because I cannot directly reply to the person's email message. I have to physcially go into the email, copy the email address and paste it into a new e-mail.
If I could just hit the "reply" button, it would make things a lot easier, but I don't know how to write the CGI script that inserts the person email address into the "From:" field.
Your replies are GREATLY appreciated.
