Here's the reality... you spend years building the reputation of an online business.
You do the right promotional things and get adequate listings in the SE's.
People find you, people buy your product. The business takes off beyond your wildest dreams. You begin to build a national reputation as an expert in your field
And some sleazeball registers YOUR domain name in Venezuela.
and buys all the spamming cd's and spams the world for his sleazy product.
You know nothing about it until you wake up in the morning and find over 100 complaints and "remove" statements in your inbox.
Because email addressed to yourdomain.com.ve gets sent to you.
And the legal staff at your ISP says there is nothing you can do. Their's is a legal domain.
Anyone have any ideas or any recourse?
