Not really an idea for you but a similar story. When I was looking for a name for my site I literally went through dozens of names trying to find one that wasn't taken. I eventually gave up on cool names because their all gone. Instead I found an obscure scientific reference and used that. "Nobody is going to be looking for this" I thought. Within a month of getting the name I had an author asking if he could have the name for his new book, which he had been writing for years, after saying no he now has lawyers on me. A scientist from MIT wants the name for his new research project, luckily he didn't care too much that I wouldn't give it up. And lastly a major phone company is releasing their new server something or other with my name as their marketing slogan. I am just waiting for the fallout on that one.
