If the world revolved around Microstock as much as they'd like it to, then you'd have no problem. Emails should be sent as "plain text". The attachment process should be done in the email browser, not from Word 2000.
But bulk-sending attachments is not a good idea as people often delete them without opening on account of virus fears. You should write the whole newsletter in the email itself OR set it up on a web page and instead of emailing a newsletter to people, you email them an announcement that the latest edition of the newsletter is "up" and provide the link. In other words, scratch the "e-zine" concept and go "web-zine".
