There is a company that offers a free "toll free number" if you sign up for their long distance service. The long distance rate is 8.5 cents/minute billed on 6 second increments. The toll free number is the same rate. There are no monthly fees for the toll free number. To sign up, call the following number from the phone number you want to use: 1-877-445-6236. Answer all the prompts and you are signed up. When asked for a member id #, use 199829.
