Is my meta OK?
From Martyn on 28 August '00
I have used the following Meta tagging, provided by TJ (Thanks), to help my web site be located by search engines.

<html>
<head>
<title>The National Wallace Monument</title>
<meta name="description" content="One of Scotland's finest tourist attractions built in honour of Sir William Wallace and other Scottish patriots">
<meta name="keywords" content="William Wallace, Robert Bruce, Stirling, Bannockburn, Battle of Stirling Bridge, 1314, 1297, Abbey Craig, Hall of Heroes, Battle of Falkirk, Andrew de Moray, Longshanks, Braveheart, Mel Gibson, Tourism, Historic Scotland">
<meta name="robots" content="All">
<meta name="revisit-after" content="25 days">
<meta name="classification" content="Tourism">
<meta name="language" content="en-us">
</head>

Is this all i have to do before i upload my site so it can be located? How also could i test it so that i know it has worked? Do i just type in the keywords into the search engine and look through the list of hits returned by the SE?

The address for my web site is www.geocities.com/martyn_bissett if anybody would like to check it out.

Martyn
