Second, SE's can recognize when pages are auto submitted and they can have unfriendly responses if they feel they are being spammed. As far as software goes, I find WebPosition Gold to be the best currently. It's a full suite of services from reporting your positions to comparing pages you create to the top performing pages on any given SE. And yes, it does submission too. There are some shortcomings to the program, in my opinion, but it's the best of the lot right now. I use that plus a virtual toolbox of other little programs to handle my needs.
