Submitted on 2/4/2001 and the only one that I really show up in is NBCI. Key things I learned so far: 1)It takes forever (8 weeks or more) to be listed in most engines. (buy a razor [there's that money word again...buy] so that you shave off the beard that will grow while you are waiting) 2)There is alot of detail to work with in the html pages. I think that if you mess up anything, your ranking will be history. 3) You should submit ALOT of pages to see what happens. I submited to NBCI and the simplest page that I submitted is showing up pretty well. I followed the advice on this website exactly for that page to see what would happen. It appears to be important to pay attention to Title,H1 and then repeat the key words immediately as the first words after the H1 listing. 4) It appears the fewer words I use in my pages the higher they rank. But that is just preliminary observation. Will
