AOL Gateway Page

Does anyone understand AOL's algorithms? I don't know how to fine tune a doorway/gateway page for AOL. They seem to have a strange formula for indexing pages and change it on a regular basis. Does anyone have the jist of what they are looking for? Short pages, long pages, meta tags, titles, descriptions, first 300 words, links, etc.??? Thank you!
