I have been looking at link popularity and found that there are no quick fix programs that work as well as the hands on approach. I have only found that you will gain meaningful search engine link pop by keeping strictly on topic for your site the best book that I read is Link popularity made easy http://www.ozconsultants.com/e-books/search/annotation/sku/278 this book is worth it for the amount of free research tools that any web master can implement in a link campaign
