Subdomains From Chris Sharkey at Ozstays on 7 Feb '03 I run a holiday accommodation web site and soon I will be interested in creating regional sites as subdomains of my main site, for example central_coast.ozstays.com sunshine_coast.ozstays.com etc, etc. Is it possible for these to receive as good listings as a top- level domain name like central_coast_ozstays.com? Or is it penalised because it is a subdomain? Also, what is Yahoo!'s stance on listing subdomains? Will they list them in their directory? Would they be likely to list my regional sites in all the different regional categories if their content was good and relevant? And if so what would be the best strategy for submitting it to them?
