>You know, I'm really beginning to think that search engines just randomly list pages without paying any attention to content at all. I know that's not true, but I'm saying it for a reason. You see, I've been trying to get a page listed on AV at least in the top TWO HUNDRED...that's all I wanted, and I followed every single thing outlined on this webpage, but had no results. All of the sudden, yesterday I just submitted a page for the hell of it...it has no meta tags, it has about 15 words in the body and that's it. All of the sudden, I run webposition, check the keyword I've been trying to get listed under, and guess what, the page that I submitted just for the hell of it is listed as #35. By all rights, it shouldn't come up in the top 10000. The keyword is a very competetive one too. The only place the keyword appears on this page is in the title. This is all so frustrating.

You answered your own question, the only place the keyword appears is in the title.
