By another way, in the most cases, the hostname you are using as wildcard is used on Wan and Lan
for "machines"(server) names. I mean that the wildcard you wish to use is really the name of a machine wich deliver other informations or services.
And this name is already linked to an IP adress, unique on the net. With NT4 you can use the "virtual server" option, but be carefull with this option:
it will increase traffic on the lan card and may cause a lot of problems.
If you wish a simple example, my own website is hosted on a such server, wich hang up at least once a week...A a lot of optionnal features are not usable all along the day!
So, next set is: do not use widcards, buy your own domain name. This is not so expensive, and it will be better for you.
