Search Engine Weirdness|

You know, I'm really beginning to think that search engines just randomly list pages without paying any attention to content at all. I know that's not true, but I'm saying it for a reason. You see, I've been trying to get a page listed on AV at least in the top TWO HUNDRED...that's all I wanted, and I followed every single thing outlined on this webpage, but had no results. All of the sudden, yesterday I just submitted a page for the hell of it...it has no meta tags, it has about 15 words in the body and that's it. All of the sudden, I run webposition, check the keyword I've been trying to get listed under, and guess what, the page that I submitted just for the hell of it is listed as #35. By all rights, it shouldn't come up in the top 10000. The keyword is a very competetive one too. The only place the keyword appears on this page is in the title. This is all so frustrating.
