>>>Once again our site has been wiped out of cyber existence at all of Excite generated searches. After working hard to achieve top ten rankings using certain key products we have been snuffed. Bummer! I have noticed a drastic drop in traffic. Almost every page of our site had been spidered now I cannot locate one of them in the directory. Does anybody know why this happens and how to avoid this problem in the future. Thanks Steve
>>Same thing happened to me about 2 months ago. After riding in the top 3 for 4 months, we were dropped and I haven't been able to get back on since.
>I feel your pain. Excite has given me nothing but trouble. Maybe a competitor resubmitted your site, who knows.

>Ditto, Our site was suddenly dropped entirely from Excite for no apparent reason. We still had a first page listing on WebCrawler for
some time after that until Excite seems to have aquired WebCrawler. Then we were banned from WebCrawler as well. Their staff seems to
be too backed up to answer questions. I read that Excite's share of Web traffic has dropped from 24% to 6% if that matters.
